Hope everyone had a great holiday; as usual I was out beneath the stars when I had an opportunity. This photo was taken on Christmas Eve at Bartlet, NH, as you can see, the stars really stand out up north under the dark skies. This photo shows the constellation Orion rising above the trees in the center of the picture, he appears to be tilted backwards. His belt, the 3 aligned stars pointing up stands out prominently near the center of the picture. Slightly below and to the right are another 3 stars that represent his sword with the middle star being the “The Great Orion Nebula”.
