You might think that to find your way around the sky you need to know both celestial coordinates and time definitions. Let Skyscraper President Steve Siok introduce you to many of the terms you will encounter as you look through the various celestial guides. Using diagrams and star charts, Steve will soon have you very comfortably knowing how to navigate overhead as well as you do here on Earth.
Steve Siok has been a member of Skyscrapers, Inc., for over forty years, and is currently the organization’s president. This program is just $5.00 per person, free to Skyscrapers, Inc., members. For more information, please contact President Steve Siok at
ssiok@cox.net
Also, weather permitting, Seagrave Observatory will be open to the public after the workshop. Please stay and enjoy the night sky with others who love looking up.
