Dr. David Kipping
The Hunt for Exomoons with Kepler
David Kipping is an astronomer fulfilling a Carl Sagan Fellowship at the Harvard - Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He researches extrasolar planets and moons, combining theoretical modeling with modern statistical data analysis techniques. His research interests also include the study and characterization of transiting exoplanets and is currently the Principal Investigator of The Hunt for Exomoons with Kepler project.

Volunteer Opportunities with the Digital Access to a Sky Century at Harvard (DASCH) Project at Harvard College Observatory
David is a member of the DASCH Project team. He will describe the status of the DASCH project and outline important volunteer tasks that people can perform from their homes.
