Comet Linear (C/2006 VZ13)

This series of Comet Linear shows the brightening over the several days imaged. All four images are three-60 second exposures that illustrate the movement during a 180 second duration. The difference in speed is visible in the amount of star trailing when comparing images from June 24 and July 2.

The last day, July 2 into the 3rd, was taken through some high clouds and fog that persisted through the night and into the morning. It was still easily imaged under extremely poor conditions.
