Imaging Saturn
Meeting location changed to Barus & Holley Room 168 on the campus of Brown University. Directions
Photographing a planet is by far the hardest thing to do with film (remember film?). With CMOS cameras and software, I can easily get a great image of Saturn ( plus Jupiter and Venus). I will demonstrate how I did this with a 6” reflector plus a 2.5x barlow, Firecapture imaging acquisition software, AutoStakkert for stacking video frames and AstroArt for combing RGB images.
