Two clear nights in a row? Not this weekend.

Saturday looked as if the weather was going to cooperate, but by the time I arrived at Seagrave, the cloud shield had rolled in from the west. Still, Dave, Jim, and I proceeded to open the observatory for an historical show and tell session.

The Society has a rich history, an aspect which Dave Huestis brings to life so well. We had about 8 guests join us for the impromptu tour of the observatory.

We called it a night around 9:30 pm and despite the cloudy conditions, we enticed a promise of a repeat visit from the guests who joined us this evening.
